The Seongsan Ilchulbong

Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak, an underwater volcano rarely exploded, and erupted out of the sea about 5,000 years ago. The crater is 65acres in area surrounded by pointy rocks resembling such huge castle on the sea. It was one of Jeju Island’s impressive site and also gazetted as Unesco World Heritage Site.
